Hotel Park Villa

I liked the old-building feel and the neighborhood, with a convenient location near Chapultepec park, condesa, roma, and polanco. The shower was good, but an all-night noise in the water system, like a whistling tea kettle, kept me awake. Maintenance is terrible, and the room carpet was old and looked dirty. With better maintenance, this could be a great hotel, but as it is, I can't recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and did what they could to help us enjoy our stay. The location is good despite the busy traffic, with everything not far away. We're used to walking, and a 30-minute walk took us to some great places. Our room was fairly quiet. The toilets are cramped, and the shower has no space or shelf for shampoo or anything else. The drainage was disgusting: water wouldn't go down, and things we'd never used came back up. I know you get what you pay for, but at $70 a night, shouldn't you at least get a decent shower? And shouldn't Mexico city be cheaper than the US anyway? I hope they renovate this beautiful hotel soon.

Park Villa is right by beautiful Chapultepec Park, in a quiet, wonderful neighborhood. We loved our sweet, roomy hotel room, which was clean and had great shower pressure. Cesar at the front desk was great, and you can reach him on WhatsApp. Housekeeping kept things tidy and left us little dried flowers. The parent hotel next door also has a garden restaurant and a nice bar.

Everyone was kind, and Cesar at the desk always looked after us with a smile. The place was clean, and the showers had good pressure and hot water. If you want to experience Mexico, this is the place to stay, not some stupid American hotels.
