La Palomilla Bed & Breakfast

We especially liked relaxing on the terrace and having the breakfasts, cooked with care each morning. The hosts checked that we were comfortable, and our room had everything we needed. On our first visit to Mexico City, the staff at La Palomilla were welcoming and kept in touch throughout our stay. We could walk to nearby shops, cafes, and restaurants, and there was a metro stop close by. We'd recommend it to friends and family, and hope to come back on our next trip.

The breakfasts were lovely, and the staff made sure my food allergy was accommodated. We also enjoyed chatting with the other guests and learning from them. La Palomilla was a great start to our trip to Mexico. We liked the room's charming decor and the quiet residential setting. The location made it convenient to visit Chapultepec and the nearby parks. It was one of our best bed and breakfast stays, and I hope we can return someday.

The sense of community at La Palomilla really stood out. We swapped travel tips with other guests around the communal dining table, and the staff knew the neighborhood well, including where to eat and how to get around. Breakfast changed every morning during our four-night stay, with fresh Mexican dishes, fruit, juice, and coffee. We liked lingering with a first cup on the rooftop terrace before heading out. The individually decorated rooms have charming details that suit the area. It's on a quiet private street in Roma Norte, within walking distance of good restaurants and Parque España, with Condesa an easy stroll away. For a locally owned, authentic place where the staff make you feel at home, La Palomilla is a great choice.

Breakfast had fresh fruit, juice, jams, bread, and traditional Mexican dishes, and we enjoyed all of it. Our master room was roomier than it appeared in the photos and just right for two. The staff were friendly and helped make our stay at La Palomilla enjoyable. We found the location convenient, with an easy walk to Chapultapec Park and lots of good places to eat nearby. I'd gladly recommend staying here. Thanks to everyone on staff for making the trip so enjoyable.
