Le Méridien Mexico City Reforma

Out of the four hotels I stayed at on this Mexico trip, La Meridian was easily the best. After long travel days, the warm, attentive welcome at check-in really mattered, and the staff were professional and made us feel cared for. Their hospitality is what would bring me back. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the front desk team made my family feel at home. They also offered my son breakfast at no charge, even though it wasn’t included in our booking. We didn’t use it every day, but the gesture meant a lot. I travel often for business and appreciate that kind of extra care. Even without those perks next time, I’d return. Thanks for making the trip memorable.

Vanessa from the concierge team made the city feel special to us, with thoughtful recommendations and care that helped us feel at home. She was welcoming and professional from the start, and her attention to detail and positive energy stood out throughout our visit. Victor from concierge was a real bright spot, welcoming and attentive, and the bell team were warm, professional, and helpful throughout. Once the General Manager got involved, communication improved and compensation was eventually offered. Still, I had to keep chasing updates, and the process stayed reactive. The problems during our stay included missed arrangements for our children before arrival, cleanliness issues, housekeeping entering despite a privacy sign, billing errors, a mediocre breakfast, and maintenance trouble around the pool. My original complaint then went unanswered for weeks until I escalated it to Marriott corporate and contacted the General Manager directly. The experience fell well short of what I expected from Marriott and Le Méridien. It lacked the consistency, accountability, and guest care I associate with the brand.

Victor and the rest of the staff made this feel like a fabulous choice for Dia de los muertos 2025. Victor’s enthusiasm for the city was contagious, and the team’s hospitality really stood out. I can’t wait to come back for another vacation. The hotel sits right on the parade route, in the middle of everything. It was decorated with alters, and there was a party at the bar every day. The rooms were clean and functional, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
