Daniela was easy to communicate with, brought some supplies when we asked, and stayed with the maintenance crew for security. The place itself was gorgeous, with comfortable beds and room for our group of 10. It's in a handy spot for attractions, a block from a supermarket, and has a small outdoor gym. Even so, the problems really soured the stay. There was banging construction every morning at 7am, Saturdays included, and the thin walls carried noise and vibrations from neighboring rooms. Maintenance was around almost daily for plumbing, a shower with no hot water midweek, a gas refill and lock repairs. On our first night the bedroom door locked from inside, leaving us stuck from midnight until 2am. The repair team returned the next day and worked for hours without fixing it. Later the front door lock was reinstalled, but we got the wrong code and were locked out again at 11pm, though that was sorted in 10 minutes. There was no hair dryer, the floor gave someone a splinter, and the bathroom and outside stairwell smelled. The dryer was broken. With construction workers next door who could easily have entered our space, we never felt at ease about our belongings.
