I was there in late October, and the area was quiet and safe. The staff, including the front desk, were very friendly. My room was tidy and clean, with a balcony, though my room type didn’t include a bathtub. EMILIANO, the restaurant chef, was attentive to what I needed and provided excellent service.

The room was large and beautiful, with a great balcony and a comfortable bed. The staff were kind, helpful, and easy to find. I loved the hotel’s character and its fantastic location in central Polanco. It was a wonderful stay and one of my favorite hotels.

We could walk everywhere from this hotel, which made getting around Polanco easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was included and turned out better than we expected, fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. Blanca, who cooks and serves, was so welcoming and attentive that we felt right at home. Having her breakfast to start our mornings was a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!

We’ve returned at least six times, and this visit lasted two weeks. The location is wonderful, just a short walk from busy shops and restaurants. Staff are consistently pleasant and attentive. Breakfast is delicious each morning, and Eileen, who looked after us this stay, is always smiling and so pleasant. Room cleaning can be hit or miss.

Blanca, the breakfast chef, is fantastic and happy to take care of any request. I’m a chef myself, so I mean that. It’s a low-key hotel tucked away for privacy, and everything I like is within walking distance. Most rooms are still being built, but they keep construction hours limited to avoid disturbing guests. I’d definitely come back.
