Suites Contempo

Being close to the park and subway stops makes the location a real plus. We had the suite with two rooms, each with a large bed, and the front desk and housekeeping were very helpful. The place itself feels dated, with an odd layout and light switches scattered around in ways that don't always make sense. The kitchen was fine, but a suite meant for five came with only two cups and two glasses.

For the price, this was decent value: a large room with a kitchen and laundry, in a great location, plus a nice breakfast and a free airport shuttle. The layout was strange, though it had what we needed. It sat right over a busy street, the windows wouldn't open, and the room smelled of cleaning products and traffic. Those parts weren't ideal, but the price made it a reasonable stay.

The front desk staff were kind and went out of their way to help. Our suite was huge, modern, and clean, with big picture windows, reliable Wi-Fi, safe beds, and plenty of hot water. It also had a fully stocked mini kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and stovetop. Hard to ask for more.

The top floor has a bar and restaurant, and the fruit and nut bowl at breakfast was lovely. Staff were polite and focused on helping. Just steps away there’s a 7/11 and a chemist. The rooms are spacious and have what you need, including a roomy shower with a strong spray and lots of hot water. It’s a modest little gem on the edge of the Palanco safe zone, and a good place to stay.
