Kali Suites

We were fine for one night. The room and bed were clean, and the AC worked well, though it was really noisy. Our shower was in poor condition and barely had any water. As far as I know, this is the only hotel where you can bring a dog.

A handy stop on our drive from Campeche to CDMX with our puppy. It’s a pet-friendly, serviced apartment style hotel with balconies, a restaurant, covered secure parking, and easy highway access.

I felt safe at Kali Suites, which mattered a lot in a city where security can be hard to find. There are two buzzer doors with cameras monitored by reception, plus a security guard there around the clock between the main gate and entrance. The rooms are small, but cozy, modern, and private, with your own kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The place was very clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I also liked the pool and the restaurant downstairs. Coming from a very cold region, I was glad the AC worked well, since it can get to 45C or higher with humidity here, and AC at some other hotels in Mexico had been bad. I was really happy I picked Kali Suites for my stay in Minatitlan, and would recommend it to anyone visiting or returning after a long time.

A real gem. The staff were very helpful, and there’s a full service restaurant and cafe. It’s pet friendly too, with secure parking and an attendant there 24 hours.
