Service was magnificent, and the restaurants inside serve delicious food. It's an old hotel in a bad spot for driving into, but it still has a lot of excellent restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms seemed small. There wasn't anywhere for the steam to go, yet surprisingly they would dry. The elevators worked really well. Event rooms were nicely decorated, and the three-course meal was okay, though it could have been better.

Good hotel, food, and service, but the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance, and they hadn't told us when we booked. That's why it's four stars.

The pool is the reason we keep choosing this hotel when we visit. It’s clean, well cared for, and there are plenty of towels. The rooms are clean too, though a little dated, and every TV channel looked blurry. For the price, I’d expect at least a fridge and microwave. Reception can be hit or miss. I’ve had lovely check-ins before, but this time nobody was rude; they just didn’t smile or make us feel welcome.

We liked the club level food and the room service, and the staff were responsive whenever we asked for something. The rooms are nice, and there’s round-the-clock help with bags from the car to your room. It’s an easy walk to the museums and Santa Lucia river walk. Valet parking and Wi-Fi are free, and the place feels secure. A great choice for the price.

The elevators stopped working Friday night, which was a real inconvenience for guests. We also had cleaners knocking before 8 every morning to ask when they could come back. There wasn’t a Do Not Disturb sign, so we had to get up early each day. Breakfast was another letdown: an hour before closing, most of the chafing dishes were empty and what was left was dry. When I told the manager, he said, “Eat what we have out,” and offered to make the meal complimentary. This was a disappointing visit, and probably our last.
