I’d eaten at the hotel restaurant, LU, on earlier trips, so I chose to stay here this time. The location is ideal for seeing the attractions, right across the street from the Cathedral and in the middle of everything. My room was still very quiet. It was clean, the staff were nice, and the restaurant is incredible. I’ll stay here again on my next visit to Morelia.

The location is good and close to all the bus stations. The rooms are small and stuffy, though, and opening the windows lets mosquitoes in. Some staff are very nice, while others act like you’re bothering them just by being there.

What a find in the center of historic Morelia. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They were still finishing the installation of mini split air conditioners in all the rooms. I don’t think I could sleep without one, so make sure to confirm your room has one. We’ll definitely stay again.

The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, and the WiFi worked well. Parking is included as valet at a nearby lot. I’d seen a couple of reviews saying there was no valet, but there is one. You have to drive the car to the lot yourself, about a 5 minute walk through a beautiful part of town. We pulled up by the hotel, moved the signs marking guest loading and unloading, checked in, and took our things to the room. Then we drove to the lot and handed the keys to the valet. It worked really well. There’s no A/C, but they put large fans on either side of the bed. I knew that ahead of time, and Morelia cools down a lot at night, so opening the large balcony doors with the fans cooled the room nicely.
