It’s a beautiful, accessible spot right in the center, but it gets very cold this time of year. Bring a blanket, and a partner if you don’t want to freeze. The water was cold as well.

The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive to the details, and happy to help with requests. There’s private parking. The building has clearly been around for a while, so guests with high standards may not find it suitable.

The electrical outlets in the walls kept losing contact and badly need repair. Hot water was unavailable, and the electronic room keys often malfunctioned. The facilities are in very poor shape.

I paid $950 for very little in return, and it was a terrible stay. The sheets were dirty and had bed bugs, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. It seemed they just made the bed after one guest left and put in the next.
