I stayed at Cantera10 and had a beautiful stay. Someone suggested dinner at Hotel Casa Morelia for the views, but what happened there was frightening. I saw a male employee put his hands on two women and an underaged boy. He choked one woman and tried to throw all three down the stairs, then knocked an older woman to the ground when she tried to protect her family and break things up. My partner and I were scared and went down to the lobby, but stayed nearby because we worried things could get worse. As we left, another guest told us they were trying to check out because of bedbugs. Nobody was at the lobby because the staff were busy attacking this family. The police arrived later, and a motorcycle pulled up with two people who seemed to know the hotel workers. The receptionist ran over to them, and the man on the motorcycle got off and punched a woman in the face. Morelia is so beautiful and safe, but I don’t feel this hotel is safe. Bedbugs and attacks on women and underaged children, this place should be shut down.
