Rymma Hotel

A clean, safe hotel a few blocks from the Cathedral, with easy access to everything. Continental breakfast is included, with typical Mexican bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, and usually an egg guisado. Delicious!

The room was clean and the breakfast was amazing. Staff were kind and helpful, listened to requests, and tried their best to sort things out. The downsides are the very small rooms, little ventilation from just a small window, and thin walls that let you hear everything outside. Some rooms have AC, but you have to ask for it.

The food was surprisingly good, and both the AC and elevators worked normally. Our rooms were small, but fine since we weren't spending all day in them. The beds were really soft, though I didn't complain because most beds in Mexico are too hard. The price seemed okay for US wages, but not for Mexican wages. The showers are adjustable and get really hot, so be careful. No sign of bedbugs. We were five people and got only two towels at first. We received two more only after we realized the supposed third towel was actually a foot towel. When I asked the nighttime front desk worker for one more, he looked at me like I was asking him to chop off his leg. We also got a pillowcase dirty from a sore in the mouth, but housekeeping didn't replace it. It seems the rooms get a wipe-down, though I doubt they ever get deep cleaned.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet, close to the centre, with free parking and breakfast included. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of coffee, a fruit plate, orange juice, and a different hot dish each day. Staff were helpful with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, and spoke some English if you needed it. The WiFi was slow one day and fast the next. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Morelia.
