Sylvia and her daughter Stephanie were wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. They were the only two workers, yet were expected to handle reception, room cleaning and upkeep, laundry, gardening, serving tea or coffee, and, for Stephanie, accounting too. The owner blamed them when guests raised complaints. That's far too much work for two people on different shifts. The hotel's location and those two staff members were the only positives for me. During our six nights with my parents, Room 15 was awful. I woke up to a bed bug on one of my pillows, and we found rat droppings in that bed and behind a dresser. The owner wouldn't refund us or move us to a sister hotel, so we had to stay there for the rest of the trip. There were also cockroaches. Rooms 13, 14, and 15 had shower knobs that didn't work properly, and those rooms had termites. If those three rooms had them, I suspected the rest of the hotel might too. In one room, though I can't remember which, the sink faucet stuck far out from the wall. The owner seemed not to care, which was a real disappointment. I don't recommend staying here, and regret spending money on it.
