The room was clean and smelled nice, and the receptionists were friendly. But we booked the junior suite two weeks ahead because the website showed a jacuzzi, and the room had a regular bathroom instead. We paid 1,500 pesos a night and were very disappointed. The restaurant was another letdown. We waited patiently for 15 minutes, and the friendly hostess had to tell our rude waitress we were still waiting to order drinks and food. When our chilaquiles arrived, she practically threw the plates down, and they tasted awful. We left without finishing our food or drinks. We told housekeeping we didn't need service for the rest of our stay, but they came in and cleaned anyway. Before leaving for breakfast in town, we left the AC on because it was extremely hot. When we came back an hour later, it was off, and the curtains I'd closed were open. The shower temperature kept swinging from cold to extremely hot. I also found a dead bird stuck on the bathroom window when I opened it to let the steam out.

We originally booked three nights and extended to four without any trouble. The reception desk staff were awesome, and the rest of the team took great care of us. The rooms were tidy and clean, and breakfast was good and filling. I'll definitely return.

Breakfast was tasty, and the courtyard is spacious and beautiful. The rooms are large, with air conditioning, a TV, a big desk, plus a little table and two chairs. The floors are tiled. The pillows could be fluffier.

The rooms are plain but clean, and the shower works well. I liked the heat lamp. The restaurant food wasn't very good, and the breakfast buffet had very few choices. If you're staying more than one night, clean towels aren't available until 3:00.

The manager was attentive and knew a lot about the area, and the staff were really nice. Rooms were super clean, there's plenty of parking and rooms, and the restaurant is good, with breakfast included. A great base for buying pottery or visiting the nearby archiological sites. Mexico is safe and friendly, and the price is hard to beat.
