Our maid Angeles kept the room tidy every day and was fantastic. The staff and service throughout are always kind and wonderful. This is a real gem in the Mayan Palace family, with a great pool area, quick beach access, and a local convenience store just across the street. Restaurants are close by, too.

There's easy access to the city right outside the front door, and the lobby has a neat wind-tunnel effect that keeps the ocean breeze flowing through the building. The hotel sits right by the ocean, with a perfect view, even from the first floor. Staff were friendly and the service was great.

We stayed at the Grand Mayan, but during the day we liked this place even more. It's a small hotel under the Vidanta brand, with a clean-as-a-whistle feel and kind, attentive staff. The vibe is relaxed and low-key. This hotel rocks!

Each year when we return, we're glad to see Estefania's smiling face. She's an energetic, happy Joy Squad member who handles whatever comes up with resort guests. We love having her around. She's a real asset to the resort.
