The room was a real disappointment and didn’t look like the photos. The bed creaked loudly every time we moved, and the bedroom’s only window wasn’t practical for airing the room. There was no air conditioning either. Staff noise at 7:00 am was unpleasant. The sink had very little water pressure, and there was no counter space for toiletries while using it. I won’t recommend this place to anyone I know. Sincerely disappointed.

We booked a year ahead and still ended up in one of the worst rooms, No 7. It was disgusting, with hair and mold, especially in the bathroom, which smelled strongly of chlorine. The room was tiny and had bars, like a jail cell, and the toilet seat was held together with tie rips. It was also directly across from the hotel's public restroom. If you want a good experience, go to the Selina Hostel a little further down the road. You’ve been warned.

The location couldn’t have worked better, right by the center of everywhere we wanted to go. The place was quaint and beautiful, and the staff were so lovely and helpful. It was by far our best stay. We’ll definitely come back!

The property is really well located, and the rooms are basic but good value. The staff were friendly and so helpful. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name, but he used to live in LA, moved back to Oaxaca, and now works at the hotel. He was wonderful and made our stay feel warm and pleasant. Thank you.
