There was plenty to explore on foot from this quiet hotel, including the downtown zocalo, yet it felt far enough from things to stay peaceful. Taxis were cheap and came by often when we didn't feel like walking. Our room was spotless and had nice lighting, air conditioning, a hot shower, coffee press, bottled water, and good Wi-Fi. They also kept free coffee, which I think was from Veracruz, along with water, ice, juice, and tea available around the clock. Emilio and Ricardo were so welcoming and pointed us toward local restaurants, activities, and celebrations. It suited us perfectly, and we'll be back in April.

The private rooftop jacuzzi was such a treat, and having water and coffee set out for everyone was a big plus. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. It's tucked away from the busy part of Centro, but we enjoyed walking into town each day. Already looking forward to returning.

I was there for six days and had a really nice stay. There are lots of restaurants nearby, the rooms are clean, and the Wi-Fi held up well. It's a lovely little boutique hotel, about a 30-minute walk from the historic center if you enjoy walking. Otherwise, taxis are inexpensive. I'd definitely recommend it.

Emilio was the standout for us. Before we even reached the entrance, he hurried over to help us park, then put us at ease about our travel plans after the unsettling events in late February 2026. The hotel itself is in a pleasant neighborhood that's easy to get around on foot. Our room was nice, quiet, and clean, and the rooftop deck is great. If you're headed to Ciudad Oaxaca, I'd stay here.

The staff were a real help and even drove us down to the center on the evening we arrived. There are two nice terraces with hill views, and one has some gym equipment. It's a lovely spot in a residential neighborhood that stays fairly quiet.
