We had breakfast included, but were told fried eggs weren't part of it and had to pay extra. At night, the restaurant closes at 10 pm, and after that you can't even get a bottle of water. Maintenance staff aren't available after 10 pm either, so you're on your own if something goes wrong. The staff also couldn't find our booking at first and said we had none. They only located it after we insisted they check again. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's about like an average Hampton Inn in the US, nothing special, and not as cheap as a Days Inn. The little bar was nice, but it was never open. Other than that it was great. The conference room was boiling every day. When I complained, staff just fiddled with the thermostat as if I hadn't thought of that. On the last day of my conference it broke completely. Maintenance said it was blowing a little, so I stood on a chair with a lit match under the vent to show it wasn't. He said okay and wandered off. A few minutes later I found him messing with the jacuzzi, which had also been broken all week. Don't rent the conference room without checking it at 10 am on a sunny day. If they say it'll cool down, come back in an hour and check, too. It won't have a room full of people in it then. My first room's AC died, so I had to move. In the new room on the fourth floor I found a scorpion, only about 3 inches long. The maid staff ignored the "Do not disturb" signs. They'd take the sheets to wash them and bring them back, so forget about having a siesta. They also left used room service trays on the stairs for 24-36 hours, and I nearly got taken out by them twice. I still avoided the elevator because it was so slow. The maids start vacuuming the halls at 8, so don't expect to sleep in, though the dog across the street barks all night anyway. The room safe is just a box with no lock. Water pressure is iffy, so take a glass of water into the shower in case you get stuck. The window doesn't open, and the little vent at the bottom won't close all the way.

I was there for over a month while having jaw surgery at Star Medica, just a block away. I needed my food liquified, and the kitchen staff were amazing about it. I can't thank them enough. I'd buy ice at the Pemex gas station, and they'd keep it in the freezer until I needed it. Chef Bertha, waitress Aby and MIguel were fabulous. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choices, not just the usual continental spread. The cleaning staff did a great job, and the front desk was available 24/7 and quick to handle any concerns. One night I woke up at 3:00am needing ice, and they directed me to a 24hour pharmacy. They also have juice and coffee available every day after 1:00pm. There's a store like a Sams/Costco called ChedRaui about a block away, with food, clothing and other things. I had a great experience and will come back. There's an iron in the closet, but no hair dryer.

The jr suit was spacious and clean, and the people here are really nice. Loved my stay. My #1 hotel to go to 😁
