We spent six nights at Casa de Bugambilias, a great base for exploring the city on foot. The B&B feels like a quiet oasis from the bustle, with lots of shared places to lounge. It's beautifully decorated with Mexican art and handicrafts, polished but still like staying with family. Breakfasts were delicious and substantial, a lovely way to start the day. They also offer tours and cooking classes, and both were great experiences. Highly recommend staying here!

Breakfast was wonderful, and the table settings were colorful and beautiful each day. Our room was large and clean, and filtered water was replenished every day. The location was wonderful, in a busy area, though it felt quiet to us. For context, we both normally sleep with earplugs and wore them here too. The restaurant next door was convenient and good.

I've stayed at Casa de las Bugambilias twice now, and it's one of my favorite places to enjoy Oaxaca. It's right by Santo Domingo and close to everything in the Centro. The decor is gorgeous, with color throughout, local artisan work, and beautiful Mexican artwork. The hotel is very comfortable too, with luxurious mattresses, bedding, towels, and showers. Such a wonderful stay. I can't wait to return.

We were touring with a small group. The breakfast was spectacular, and our comfortable room had original artwork. The staff were welcoming. Even though it's right on the street, the place stays cool, calm, and quiet. Oaxaca is a magical city, and the local restaurants and stores exceeded my expectations.

The welcome at Las Bugambilias stayed with us long after we got home to Michigan. Abril, Viki, and Juanita made breakfast a treat each morning, with lovely table settings and food prepared and served with care. Frida, Diana, Adriana, and Victor at reception were patient and kind, and offered useful advice whenever we asked. This was our fourth trip to Oaxaca in 25 years, and our second stay at Casa de las Bugambilias. My wife and I found it charming and beautiful, and have already recommended it to friends and family. We’ll always remember the hospitality there.
