Hotel Casa Divina Oaxaca

Great choice for families. The hotel placed us in its suites location, and we loved both the apartment and where it was. Service and communication from the hotel were amazing.

The staff were very accommodating, and they kindly moved us out of the first room, which had a king bed but was so tiny I felt claustrophobic. The larger room was much better, but when I went to shower, the water was freezing cold. My husband chose this hotel, and I should have researched it myself. It's just not up to par!!!

The room got noisy at night, with dogs barking, car alarms and music from other guests. I couldn't sleep properly through the night. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly, the rooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The city center location is great, and we felt safe the whole time. Breakfast is available in the upstairs restaurant and was nice.

We thought this would be a great vacation, but there was a robbery in our Villa. They took all our electronics, documents and valuables, a loss of around $5,000 USD. The hotel has no security cameras and doesn't feel safe to me. We had to pay the full bill, and the next day they had guests in the same Villa. The hotel is calling it an auto-theft, even though we have proof it wasn't. They only paid for the stolen safe under their insurance, about a quarter of what was taken. We're trying to protect other guests, but going there is at your own risk. Worst hotel ever!!
