The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the staff were nice. It’s a calm place in a good location if you want a quiet area, though there are hardly any food options nearby. The building is very old, and you can feel it. The bathroom had a damp, old-room smell, and it took a while for the water to get warm.

The rooms are huge and comfortable, and the restaurant was very good, especially breakfast. This was the best place we stayed in Oaxaca. It’s close to the Zocalo, and the accommodation was unmatched.

The staff were ready to help with anything and did it with a smile. They also pointed us to restaurants frequented by locals instead of tourist traps. The hotel itself was amazing, with beautiful architecture and history, and we’d stay again when we’re in Oaxaca. We had a king room with nice linens and a layout that worked well for travelers. After exploring Oaxaca, the floor-to-ceiling stone tile shower with its rainfall head was a great way to unwind. The bed was firm, and its huge headboard made a real centerpiece. TV options were limited, with only one good English channel, but being able to sign into our Netflix on the smart TV was great. From check-in until they called us a taxi, everything was amazing.

The staff really made our stay and went above and beyond. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the restaurant was good too. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the sights in central Oaxaca. A wonderful hotel, highly recommend!

I only stopped in for lunch, but it was super yum. The Mexican dishes shown here were great, the frappes were yummy too, and the waiters were lovely. Definitely recommend.
