Jose and his family make this a lovely place to stay. Everything was clean, well-kept, and in order. There’s an indoor common sitting room and two lovely outdoor terraces, with a good view of the mountains and nearby St. Domingo church. It’s on a noisy street with bars open late, but the Zocalo is a quick walk away.
JM is really friendly and treats his guests like friends. The house is pleasant, with two lovely terraces, and you can cook there. Go with your eyes closed.
This lodging is no longer there, so don't plan to stay here on your next trip to Oaxaca.
The terrace view is lovely, and the location and service are pleasant too.
