The room was on the small side, but nicely decorated, and the staff were good. The hotel is in a great spot. Street noise is the main drawback: the rooms sit far enough back to stay quiet, though relaxing in the sun near the street can get annoying.

The garden is spacious and pretty, and the maid service was thorough and professional. The two security guards also stood out, warm and capable, and seemed to keep things running. We spent four nights here, though the rooms felt tiny and had little charm. Reception was rarely staffed. The location works during the day, but a weekend nightclub or rave next door can make nights unbearably loud. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The little café has coffee and snacks, and there’s a guard on duty around the clock. What I loved most was how much the patio and its decorations made the place feel like home. It’s a bright pink oasis, with friendly staff and a clean, roomy bedroom furnished with good quality pieces. I’m completely in love with this hotel. Absolutely recommend it!

Jose at the cafe was so sweet, offering recommendations and checking in as we headed out. The manager and security staff were just as kind, and they cleaned our room every day. The place is even prettier in person, with really cute rooms and a feel more like an Airbnb, but with hotel amenities. We chose to stay central for our first trip to Oaxaca since we weren’t renting a car. From here it was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centro, closer than we expected. Loved our stay, and I’ll definitely come back.
