The best thing about this hotel is its location by the zocolo. My room was small and just okay, with a bed that needs improvement. The shower also needs a curtain because water gets everywhere. I left early, and the checkout instructions weren’t clear. There’s no parking, and although I found a space at a nearby 24 lot, the host hadn’t clearly explained that arrangement. My stay was fine, but next time I’d consider one of the neighboring hotels.

Street noise comes straight through the plasterboard walls, so you’ll hear sirens and people outside while trying to sleep. It usually dies down around 11 or midnight, which helps a bit. Also, the city doesn’t have running water, so after 6 pm the tank may already be empty when you need a shower or the toilet. It’s probably fine as a budget hotel, as long as you know what to expect.

You can hear everything between rooms, and the street is noisy too. The nearby building has loose roof tiles that bang around through the night, making it hard to sleep. Bathrooms may have no water. Service was terrible: they say to call if there’s a problem, but no one answers. The price feels high for what they provide.

The rooms are tiny, and I found ants and bedbugs. When we arrived, nobody was at reception, so we had to wait a long time for someone to show up and explain things. Even then, they were rude. It was the worst experience, and I’d never recommend staying here.

I found bedbugs in all three rooms I was moved to. There were so many bites that I had to go to the hospital. It was already very late, and I couldn’t safely go find another hotel. I’d chosen the place because it looked nice and the service seemed good. The owner ignored me when I explained what happened, and they never sent the invoice I requested. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
