The high ceilings, cleanliness, and location were the main positives. But the bathroom offered little privacy, outside noise came through clearly, and the bed and pillows were too firm for me. Staff barely spoke English, and breakfast was sparse. The lighting was dim and the place had a monastery-like feel, without much atmosphere. I was especially disappointed because the hotels I stayed in before and after were superb and cost less. We chose this one for our five-night stay, and I don’t think I’d pick it again.

I was looking forward to staying here, but they no longer accept children under 12. I mistakenly booked a week, and they’ve been unreasonable about giving me a refund. The manager wasn’t helpful, and booking.com hasn’t been able to sort it out either. A terrible experience. I’d suggest staying elsewhere if possible.

The service was excellent and the staff were amazing. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Zocalo and mercados. I’ll definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were a nice size, and everything was tidy and very clean. It’s a cute, quiet hotel in the middle of the old city, with good restaurants and pleasant streets to walk around. Breakfast was quite good too.
