Casa Antonieta

Mornings upstairs on the patio were a highlight, surrounded by tropical plants and such friendly staff. The food we had in the kitchen was delicious, clean, and well prepared, and they were happy to make accommodations when needed. Our room was spacious and tasteful, with comfortable beds and thoughtful details that made us feel welcome, including artisan touches from Oaxaca. Everything was lovely and kept clean. Salvador, Andrea and Bernice were especially wonderful to work with. I may be forgetting a few names, but they were a treasure. Staying here really became part of the experience, and we enjoyed it so much.

So much character here, with history, greenery, and an intimate, cozy, elegant feel. Even my mom, who uses a wheelchair, managed well: there was just one step, and she didn't go up to the third-floor terrace bar. The cafe and bar fit in beautifully. A wonderful hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the terrace breakfast is fantastic, with delicious coffee too. There's lots to do in the city, and the people are lovely. This is a special hotel with a great team. SALVATOR greets you like family and really cares about how your stay goes. We've visited Mexico City about five times, but this place in the heart of the city is now our favorite!

The room was roomy and clean, and the shower was great. We found the hotel quiet and lovely, right in the heart of Oaxaca, with most major sights an easy walk away. The staff were thoughtful and kind, and the restaurant and coffee shop had what we needed. We'd come back in a heartbeat.
