We'd stayed at a pretty good hotel on an earlier trip for just 100 extra, so I'd choose somewhere else for a better price. This time we booked a king suite, but the floor was dusty and the towels were dirty. Water flooded the bathroom floor, and they only gave us one roll of toilet paper.

The alley location keeps traffic away, so it was quiet, and the hotel is near the Large Mercados. It's at the edge of the centro area, with many places not far away. I booked a basic room at a basic price with a king bed. It had a large dresser, wall-mounted TV, somewhere to hang clothes, and a love seat. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, though I only used the shower and can't say whether the tub worked. There was a steady drip from the ceiling due to a plumbing leak.

The room was roomy, with two double beds, and they included bottled water. It's not in the best spot, though the 20 de noviembre market and a few other markets are close by. Basic hotel, about what you'd expect for the price.

We really recommend this hotel. It was a great find in Oaxaca, brand new and super clean, with cute decor and a nice concept. Close enough to the city center, with fantastic service and awesome prices.
