The room was clean and well looked after, and the room attendants were amazing. They made me feel like my mom was looking after me. The front desk staff were very nice too. But the bed was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on. There were 12 of us, and everyone had the same complaint. They really need to invest in comfortable mattresses.

The staff were great, but getting into the center was a hassle. You’ll need a yellow taxi or have to walk 20-30min each time, and taxis are kind of hard to find in this area. It was my only choice for the fia de muertos, but otherwise I wouldn’t come back. My other issue was the cleaning ladies, who were very nice and honest, but came to the room several times a day and moved or touched my things. I wasn’t comfortable with that. Usually they should avoid shifting guests’ belongings, or at least do it as little as possible.

The beds could’ve been straight out of the Flintstones, they were so hard. There was no AC, and we had to ask for toilet paper and towels.

The tense, disrespectful way the cleaning staff were treated was uncomfortable to witness. The supervisor’s poor treatment was evident on several occasions and made the management seem bad overall. The facilities also need serious maintenance. Common areas felt neglected, with old, worn furniture, and the bathrooms were unhygienic, smelled bad, and had damaged fixtures. Towels were worn and looked old and poorly washed, which isn’t acceptable in a lodging place. This was a very disappointing stay, and I can’t recommend the hotel given the poor upkeep, cleanliness, and treatment of staff.
