Mision De Los Angeles

The buffet at Hotel Misión de Los Ángeles was fresh and flavorful, with a nice mix of local flavors and classic options. Much of the food was prepared right in front of you, and you could see the care going into each dish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A relaxing, delicious meal if you're in the area, highly recommend!

The rooms are comfortable, but the windows and doors don't keep outside noise out. Avoid rooms in the 500 and 600 numbers, since tennis players will get you up very early. We stayed in December 2024 and February 2025. On a couple of nights in a row, guests partied until 2-3 am, swimming and playing loud music through speakers. I called the front desk several times over 2-3 hours and got very little response. Worse than any hostel I've been to. Think twice if you need proper sleep before an event or are traveling with kids.

The reception staff were very friendly and called us when our guides and taxis had arrived, which was extremely helpful. We stayed three nights and had an excellent stay. Our room was modern, very clean, and spacious, with a separate seating area. We didn't find time to use the pool with our hectic schedule, but it looked amazing.

The hotel is old but well maintained, though the restaurant atmosphere feels a bit decayed. Service and maintenance were the best parts. Management showed little consideration for customers, and the check-in experience made that especially noticeable.
