The location made it easy to walk everywhere. We stayed in a private room and shared the bathroom, which was cleaned regularly. The rooms and bathroom are old, though. Hot water was reliable in the evenings, but the morning shower could turn cold near the end when lots of people were using it.

The patio and balconies were a real highlight, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely three-night stay for the price, with a great location. Our family of five, including a two-year-old, found the staff helpful and patient. They also let us leave our bags in the office before check-in and after checkout. Room 14 could use better water pressure, and the sink splashed a bit. Some negative reviews seem to assume every room has a shared bathroom, but that isn't the case. Gracias por recibirnos!

You get a real taste of Mexico here, and the location is great for reaching museums, markets, and parks. Breakfast is included each day, and the rooms are cleaned daily, with a heater and fan combo. It's a good, affordable base if you'll be out most of the day. Just don't expect air conditioning or hairdryers. Some windows face the common area, so it isn't especially quiet or private.

The room didn't match the pictures, and the sanitation was very poor. The shower barely worked. We arrived early after taking a night bus and getting hardly any sleep. Although the room was ready, they wouldn't let us in before 1 pm, even though all we wanted was a nap. The staff were the rudest I've ever met, apart from one younger guy who was nice. I wish I'd read the bad reviews before booking. Avoid this place.
