The breakfast was included each day, and staff checked in the day before to confirm our choices and the time we wanted it ready. The rooms were quiet, peaceful, and clean, and I felt safe here on my first visit to Oaxaca. The hotel is right in the downtown area, within a 5-10 minute walk of shops, places to eat, the market, churches, and more. Walking in, you get a sweet aromatherapy scent and a warm welcome. It has a real Zen feel. I’d stay here again, and thank you for making our visit pleasant.

We came for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. The courtyard was peaceful, the rooms were very nice, and the location put us close to restaurants, art, and shopping. Everyone was so kind, from the front desk to the breakfast wait staff.

Central Oaxaca’s sights, bars, and restaurants are all an easy walk away. The hotel is very clean, and the staff were friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and fresh, delicious ingredients. The building has traditional style, while the rooms have modern facilities. A beautiful place I’d highly recommend.

Before we arrived, the staff sent plenty of messages, and their service during our stay was excellent. Valet parking was superb and absolutely necessary, since parking in Oaxaca is impossible. We were a couple staying two nights. Breakfast was included and adequate, but nothing more. Our room was small and unremarkable, and the bathroom was so tiny it was hard to use, even though we’re not big people. There was quite a bit of noise inside and outside. A note explained it’s a busy city centre and they can’t control that, and earplugs were provided, though we didn’t need them. For the room we had, it felt very expensive and poor value, though we were there for the last 2 nights of the gelaguetza, so prices may have been higher than usual. Excellent service before and during, great valet parking, average breakfast, below average room.
