Zen Suites by Regente

The suite was spotless, and we loved staying here. It's a comfortable place for a few days in OAXACA with the family, close to lots of shops. There's underground parking, and someone is at the entrance around the clock. Great service, too. AWESOME PLACE!

The staff were really kind, attentive, and helpful. The location made everything convenient, with what we needed close by and a very central spot. I loved this place and would absolutely recommend staying here.

They charge extra for all sorts of things: 500 for an extra person, 20 for another bottle of water, 60 for an extra towel, and so on. There are two bedrooms, but even if only two people arrive, they expect you to use one and keep the other locked. Want to sleep in your own bedroom? That's extra. Idiotic.

I came back after dealing with the break-in and was charged for another night because I hadn't checked out on time. My truck had been broken into on the street right in front of the hotel, and the stereo and battery were stolen. Staff had told me it was safe there because they had cameras and a guard. When I asked to see the footage, they said the cameras weren't working. I believe the staff was involved in the robbery. It cost me 6000 pesos to fix the truck and took most of my day. They'd said not to worry, even though secure parking across the street was available for 100 pesos. The hotel did nothing to help. Never stay here!
