Hotel Cañada Internacional

We planned to stay a week and ended up staying two, and we'd definitely return. The location is great, at the entrance to the most beautiful street, with its restaurants, bars, and tourist area. We felt safe there. Walk 15 seconds and you're in the "real" city, where cheap, delicious restaurants, grocery stores, a pharmacy, hospitals, Oxxo, and more are all within a five-minute walk. The staff were AMAZING. We brought our two dogs and had no trouble staying with them. They noticed we were working remotely and set us up with a nice table and office chairs. The Wi-Fi was great, and there was a shaded spot where we could work on our laptops without problems. The pool became our break area. We felt like part of the family.

Great, clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, and the interior has lots of plants and nice decorations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it felt like a genuine hotel stay. For the money, this is as good as it gets, and the best value in Palenque for sure. Highly recommended 👍🏻

There was no water, coffee, or food, and the TV couldn't be used because the audio was malfunctioning. The Wi-Fi didn't work anywhere except for WhatsApp and YouTube, with parental controls active. I had to go to a bar several times a day to book buses and hotels. The AC worked once in two days. The toilets had windows open onto the corridors, and there were Bibles in every corner of the hotel.

It's a cool little hotel with interesting architecture. Big windows give each room a corner view, and it's very clean. There's a pool and pleasant outdoor seating. Unfortunately, there were no food services, perhaps because of Covid. Not even coffee, and there's no kitchen or refrigerator.
