Hotel San Catarino Centro

The hotel was half a block from Palenque's main park or plaza, which made it easy to walk around the center. I had a delicious dinner, bought handicrafts, tried marquesitas for the first time, and had pozol, a cacao drink. I didn't really like the hotel. I'd asked around at several places, but this was the last room available, so I took it. It cost 850 pesos for two double beds and a flat-screen TV, though the remote didn't work. The room was very small but okay for sleeping. I left my car on the street and had no trouble the next day.

The rooms were in great shape, and the reception was excellent. The location was great too. One thing to know: when a guest needs to get their car out early, everyone else has to move theirs first, which wakes them up.

There are single, double, and group rooms, plus a lounge and restaurant. The hotel has covered parking with plenty of space, available around the clock. Rooms come with air conditioning, hot water, internet, and cable TV. It's a place to rest before continuing your adventure in the morning. Head to Hotel San Catarino.

The bathrooms aren't properly equipped, and the service was terrible. Cars get blocked in the parking lot, so you can't leave if the other guests aren't in their rooms. The manager should at least collect guests' contact details and phone numbers so they can be reached when this happens.
