Julia at reception was kind and helpful, and the location is great with amazing views. Still, my room felt overpriced. It was old and a bit dirty, with lots of hair on the bathroom floor, and the towels didn’t look very clean :(

The view is captivating, and I highly recommend the Hotel. The services, appearance, cleanliness, and location were extraordinary. Breakfast is only on weekends, and the Hotel sits at a high altitude, so the road up can be a bit challenging. What road going uphill in life isn’t? I’m appalled by the negative or unimpressed reviews. Maybe Mexico isn’t for them.

The rooms were very comfortable, the view was amazing, and the customer service was excellent. I’m looking forward to returning and highly recommend it. Just be careful on the drive up, since the road gets much worse near the hotel. I hope they fix it soon ;)

Muy Malo. The rooms felt cold and depressing, with hideous decor and too few plugs for devices. There are too many stairs to carry luggage. The website said breakfast was included, but reception didn’t honor that, even when we showed them the page. Not impressed, and it didn’t feel “Eco”.

The rooms are beautiful, and we were very happy there. The view of the lake and the island is great, and you can walk down to the center of town. Just remember that getting back means going uphill, so take a cab for about $6 US. The gravel road makes the hotel a little hard to reach, but we loved the location and will be back.
