The staff were kind and helpful, and we’d stay here again if we came back to the area. The room was clean and comfortable, with a bed I slept really well in. It wasn’t big, though it still felt roomy. The bathroom was nice and had hot water, but the water pressure was pretty weak.

I only ate at the restaurant, I didn’t stay at the hotel. The building looked beautiful and cozy, but the meal was a big letdown. The nachos had stale chips and boiled meat, so we left them. The spaghetti was bland, with boiled meat, and reminded me of cafeteria food. The shrimp pasta was a little salty, and my hamburger seemed cooked on just one side, with raw meat inside. I didn’t finish it. The restroom is beside the kitchen, with paper thin walls. I could hear what they were doing, and they could hear me too, if you know what I mean.

Ughhhh, awful service and terrible food. I had to send the food back.

The room had mosquitoes and spiders, which was the one downside. Otherwise, I liked the decor, the location was great, and the staff were really friendly. I recommend staying here.

Right in the heart of the city beside the government palace, the location is the best part. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the service was good. It’s a comfortable hotel with generally acceptable facilities and comfortable rooms. The colonial, old-fashioned style gives it an interesting, bygone-era feel. It’s pleasant, though nothing luxurious or out of the ordinary.
