Anah La Quinta

We had a great week at Anah Downtown. The condo was cozy and modern, and the building was kept really clean. The rooftop lounge and pool made a nice spot to relax with a drink. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Isabelle, the concierge, took especially good care of us. The location worked well too, with shops, groceries, and restaurants an easy walk away. We'd recommend it and stay again if we make it back to Playa.

We liked our three-night stay. The condo was modern and very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Shops and places to eat are an easy walk away, and there was plenty of secured parking. Fun place to stay.

Staying here felt dangerous and sketchy. Noise complaints are constant, but management and the building's workers don't seem to care about guests' safety or well-being, or do anything to help. If a problem comes up, they blame you. The people managing the building through Sunset are rude and confrontational. It feels like they only care about getting your money by any means possible.

If you need to sleep at night, don't stay at Anah Suites. I'm very well travelled, and this was dodgy enough that even a one-star hostel might have been a better experience. A hostel next door shares a wall with the hotel and has an underground nightclub. The noise makes it impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. Anah staff know about it but deny the problem, ignore it, or do nothing. They gave us the runaround, were rude, and seemed to care only about the condo owners and taking our money. Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy!
