BLOOM Exclusive Boutique B&B - Adults Only

The terrace jacuzzi was a real bonus, and most places in Playa are within walking distance. The B&B is far enough from the hustle and bustle of 5th Avenue to be peaceful. On my first trip to Playa del Carmen, I was totally enchanted by my stay and would recommend the place to anyone who enjoys the good life. Francis was a wonderful host, making amazing breakfasts that changed each day. My room was spacious, cleaned daily, and looked onto a lovely courtyard. Francis also suggested excellent restaurants, excursions, and beautiful beaches. Thank you, Francis.

The breakfast was beyond amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. It was thoughtfully made, beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. After recently dining at Pujol and Quintonil, I'd say these breakfasts beat that experience in many ways. I even bought some of the chef's tools to try recreating the food. Bloom gave us such a warm welcome, and I felt cared for throughout my week there. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. The in-room guidebook showed that care, going beyond nearby recommendations and showing... The rooms are well appointed, with excellent amenities and tasteful touches. I especially liked being able to drink the water thanks to the whole-hotel filtering system. I stayed during COVID and greatly appreciated how well they handled masks and sanitation. I would happily stay here again whenever I'm in town, and I've recommended it to friends and family who are planning to visit.

Francis clearly loves what he does, and it makes a difference. He's a lovely, helpful host, and the breakfast was the best ever. The rooms are stylish and very clean, and there's a roof terrace with a pool. The guesthouse is a few minutes' walk from the beach and the main tourist street, but it's in a quiet neighborhood with a few bars and restaurants nearby. That worked perfectly for us. The main tourist street has some nice-looking hotels, but bars and restaurants play loud music all night. This place keeps you close to everything while still far enough away for a good night's sleep. What more do you want?

Chef Francis' breakfast was delicious, and the B&B gave us a peaceful, restful stay. Our room was clean, and the daily maid service was a nice extra when we needed fresh towels or anything else. We stayed at Bloom in Feb. 2023 and enjoyed it. Restaurants, coffee shops, the beach, and local shopping are all within walking distance. We'll definitely come back!
