The only real advantage is the location, and with so many hotels around, this one isn’t worth it. For this price there are MUCH better options. The rooms are basic, with an overpowering damp smell and other unpleasant odors. The beds were clean enough, but the room overall wasn’t good. The toilets worked hit or miss, and there were cockroaches and mosquitoes in the rooms. One woman at reception was accommodating, though she didn’t speak English. The other male worker was rude and unhelpful. Coco Bongo is next door, and its music blasted until 4 am, with the beat shaking the room’s items and walls.

The hotel’s location was good, but little else was. In our shared room there was only one outlet, attached to the light switch, so using an adapter properly was impossible and charging our phones became a nightmare. The sheets and towels were in disgusting condition, full of holes. One female receptionist was kind, which was the only positive. Nothing else about the hotel was great.

Being close enough to walk to 5th ave was convenient, but the hotel is basically attached to a night bar restaurant that stays open until 4am. The music is incredibly loud, with the walls and floors shaking. Reception said it was a separate business and there was nothing they could do. Even on Tuesday, when 5th ave was quiet and most places had closed around 11, it was still going. If you want to party until 4am, the music might suit you. If you need to relax or sleep, stay somewhere else.

A cool spot, right beside a restaurant blasting music until 4am every night. It's 2am as I write this from bed, searching whether a subwoofer can make concrete crumble and bring down a whole hotel. Part of me wishes it could, just so I might fall through or at least get a concussion. Maybe then I'd get some rest, in a hospital bed or next to my grandad in his grave. One star.

The hotel looks nice, but it's loud all night. Out on 5th ave the music gets even louder, the lights flash, and the atmosphere didn't feel very welcoming.
