Mansion Serenity en Puerto Aventuras

The food at Hacienda Corazon was amazing, with tasty choices at every meal. My husband has a severe shellfish allergy, and the staff took care to prepare his food completely separately. Everyone, from the servers and bartenders to the party planners, was friendly, helpful, and happy to chat or answer questions. We were there for my cousin's wedding, and it was my first trip to Mexico. On arrival, we were welcomed and shown to our room. It was smaller than we'd expected, but comfortable, with a view of the cute courtyard. We also got a tour of the facility so we knew where everything was. The Hacienda is right on the beach, with a pool overlooking the ocean. Paddle boards and canoes were available throughout our stay, fresh towels were brought to the pool each day, and room service was great. They cleaned when we wanted and left us alone when we asked. It was pricey, but I'd highly recommend giving Hacienda Corazon a try. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We hosted our wedding at Magica House, one of the three houses, Del Mar, Corazon, and Magica. All 28 guests staying there were looked after every step of the way, from arrival to goodbye. The location makes it easy to enjoy Puerto Aventuras: three steps from the house to the pool, another three to the beach, and about ten more into the ocean. Mimi, our concierge, was phenomenal, and the service from the staff was outstanding. The home-cooked food was delicious, and the bartenders were great. Meals are chosen in advance based on how many people will attend and paid for upfront so they can source local ingredients. One day they even caught fresh fish off the beach for lunch. For liquor, I'd suggest ordering from La Europea liqueur store in Cancun and having it delivered. Beer and wine can be bought cheaply across the highway at the entrance to Puerto Aventuras. The butler can also shop from a list for an added 20%, with receipts provided. Don't hesitate to ask the staff for anything, they're very willing to help.

We stayed at Hacienda Corazon for a week in Aug. 2017 with a group of 16, and the house was even nicer than the pictures suggest. It was spacious, with excellent views, and extremely clean. After a tropical storm, the staff had the pool and beach area ready for us the next morning. The staff were outstanding too. Luigi, the chef, accommodated all our dietary restrictions and made fantastic meals, especially the Mahi Mahi and paella. Jorge, the bartender, was pleasant, helpful, and mixed great drinks for hours. Thanks for the extra pounds and hangovers. The only things I'd suggest fixing are the front door latch and the air conditioning in the master suite. We mentioned both to the staff, and they quickly sent a handyman to look at them. Dolphin Discovery, the shopping area, and a beachfront bar are within walking distance. Cenotes and Tulum are nearby and worth visiting. Our concierge at Luxury Retreats booked them for us. We'd definitely recommend Hacienda Corazon and Luxury Retreats.

Everything was perfect at the destination wedding. The staff who ran and organized it were spectacular. Bartenders Federico and Patricio were friendly and did a great job.
