Hostal Centro de Coyoacan

I keep coming back to this house and its rooms, and have done so for years. It's right on Coyoacán's main square. The manager, Silvia, is attentive, warm, and very professional, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend.

I was met by another guest because the woman never showed up. Later she called and told me to leave early, saying she'd already booked the room and wasn't expecting my reservation. When I said I wasn't leaving early, she got very rude and hung up. I asked her to change the checkout times because guests shouldn't be rushed out like that. If you leave your things in the room, staff come and go using a different key. I found my suitcase on the floor because they were hurrying to make the bed for the next guests. It was the same blanket and pillowcases they'd given me.

The hostess is a wonderful person, 10 out of 10. The hostel was really clean and comfortable, and it's only three blocks from the center of Coyoacán.

It took a little looking to find, but I loved the place. It's peaceful, especially how quiet it is, and the spaces are lovely. I hope I can come back.
