Ocean Maya Royale - Adults Only - All Inclusive

I’ve visited about four times, and we keep returning because the resort is so well run and the staff, from the spa and front desk to everyone in between, are incredibly kind. The activities are fun, the food is amazing, and I think the smaller size helps. Everything is about a 10-20-minute walk away. I did a lot of research before trusting a place with my wedding. I used to be a travel company’s director of flights, so I’m particular about where I stay. I wanted to marry on my anniversary in February, but where I live is very cold and there aren’t many options. My wedding at Ocean Maya Royale was the best ever. As the bride, I can say it was the most stress-free, relaxing, and beautiful day of my life. For adults, there’s plenty to do, from downtime activities to parties and great entertainment. I can’t recommend Ocean Maya Royale enough. A huge thank you to the entertainment staff and all the lovely people and locals I’ve had the honor of meeting over these visits. The food was a big hit during our Super Bowl stay. There were lots of snacks and choices, and the crab grill with empanadas, shrimp, ribs, steak cuts, and BBQ-covered corn were the stars of the night. It was a really fun experience, with great activities, a lively atmosphere, and excellent service from start to finish. The staff made us feel welcome and looked after, and it was clear they’d thought through every detail. We’ll definitely be back!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was very good, and the mood was relaxed but still fun. Everyone on staff was helpful and lovely. This was my first stay at Ocean Maya Royale, and I’ll be back. Viri from the entertainment team, who teaches Tai Chi, was amazing, friendly, and welcoming. Her positive attitude made the visit feel even more special.

We’ve taken yearly trips to warm destinations for about ten years, and Ocean Maya is one of the best we’ve tried for the price. The rooms were clean, the food fantastic, and the a la cartes were great. Most were first come, first served; one required a reservation, but you could only book at 545pm on the same day. Everyone, from the entertainment crew to the cleaners, was friendly and helpful. Special mention to Eber, our bartender. He also joined in with the entertainment activities and was a warm, fun presence wherever we saw him. I wondered if he’d had professional training, but he hadn’t. He’d been serving for his 10th year, and it shows. It’s mostly what you’d expect from an all-inclusive, done well across the board. Maybe not perfect in every little way, but I couldn’t think of even a minor thing I wanted to complain about.
