Since it’s right across from the regional IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute), this is a really convenient place for doctors or patients’ families. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is hard to beat. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed for two nights while going to the Tajín festival, and it worked out perfectly. Papantla was packed, with heavy traffic, so avoiding an overnight stay there was a relief. The place was clean and quiet. The bathrooms are shared, with separate facilities for men and women. We barely saw anyone else during our stay, which made using the facilities more pleasant. I only saw a woman about to use the showers right before we left.
