We’re back for our fourth visit, and we still love how easy it is to get away from the city here, with nature and mountains all around. Ruth was kind and gave us great advice during our short stay. Her eco-friendly house is surrounded by nature and wonderfully peaceful, just right for disconnecting.

I came away inspired by the eco-house. It went beyond what I expected, and felt like a place to connect with nature, art, and yourself. The owner is generous with her knowledge and so kind, and I learned a lot from her. Thanks for welcoming us and encouraging us to rethink how we live. I’ll definitely be back. ♡

I wouldn’t come back. The room was dirty, the mattress was very old and uncomfortable, and there were bedbugs in the bed and scorpions out in the open. I couldn’t rest there. The composting toilets also seemed poorly maintained, with waste fumes lingering in the bathroom. I got a plague infection from it. The owner came across as friendly at first, but when we disagreed over the phone, she turned passive-aggressive. You could see it as soon as I tried to raise something I disagreed with.
