The pool was the main reason we wouldn’t return. In the middle of a hot summer day, the water was uncomfortably warm and didn’t feel refreshing. It felt like a lukewarm bath around 5 pm Saturday and again at about 1 pm Sunday. My family, especially my 3-year-old daughter, couldn’t really enjoy it. I understand keeping it warmer in the evening, when it closes at 10 pm and the ocean breeze cools things down, but it should be cooler during the day. We stayed at Voyage Vacation Club in Rosarito this past weekend. The hotel is charming and has a beautiful view, and check-in was friendly when we arrived around 3:30 pm Saturday. But although we had paid and booked two rooms, only one was ready, and the second hadn’t even been set aside. At first they offered just one room. We explained the booking was for two, and the staff did help sort it out and eventually gave us both. The hotel is nice and the staff resolved the room problem, but the pool issue was a big disappointment.
