We’ve stayed at Mayab Suites twice and highly recommend it to anyone spending time in Progreso. The apartment is clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that’s especially useful for a longer stay. Adrian is attentive and quick to answer our questions. If you want, a lovely, upbeat woman cleans the apartments twice a week. The rooftop patio is great for watching the sunset or getting a bird’s-eye view of the area. You’re just a block from the Malecon and beach, and close to grocery stores, the central market, and other amenities.

We got more than we expected. The place is spotless, with a full kitchen and a comfortable bed, on a quiet street in a busy town. It’s a block and a half from the beach, and markets, a pharmacy, and everything else we needed were within walking distance.

The room was comfortable, and the AC worked great. It has a kitchenette with a stove, sink, refrigerator, and dining area. The place is clean and quiet, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The boardwalk and beach, the museum, and an Oxxo convenience store are each about a block away. I’d recommend it and would definitely come back.
