Hotel Hell Blue

NOT RECOMMENDED. We booked a week ahead, but when we arrived they said our rooms had already been taken. They made us pay another $500 pesos to get a room. The owner was rude and arrogant, and to make matters worse, there was no water.

There was no hot water, and they didn't give us towels. The showerhead was clogged with limescale, so the water sprayed badly in every direction except where it should. The shower door wouldn't close properly either, and water leaked out into a puddle in the room. We asked them to clean it because the door didn't seal, but they never came, even after we told them three times. There's no internet, and the rooms are on the third floor, so you have to carry your things up the stairs. If you park at the far end of the lot, other cars block the exit. At 6:00 AM, they play music at full volume in reception, making it impossible to sleep. There's nowhere to put your belongings, with no drawers or hooks for clothes, and the window doesn't seal, letting in cold air. Other guests were also complaining that their reservations weren't honored and they'd been told there were no rooms left.

The service was terrible, and there was no water. Don't book by phone or online, because they won't honor your reservation and may charge more than you agreed.

We had booked four months ahead, but reception said they had no record of it when we arrived. Showing our reservation confirmation didn’t help, and they still wouldn’t let us stay unless we paid an extra $300 to check in. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
