The brass beds and the feeling of staying in a museum after closing are what make this place worth trying. It's a wonderfully unusual, beautiful hostel, with such a classy look that you might wonder if you've arrived at the wrong place. A restaurant downstairs serves local food with live music, and it sort of shares the space with the hostel. The setup is pretty impractical, though. The front desk has an old-fashioned grille, the bathroom is a long way from the rooms, and the water pressure is stronger than the actual flow. You can hear and see light through the bedroom walls, and there are no bed lights or outlets near the bed. Don't expect much of a social scene. I'd keep a stay to one or two nights, but it's a memorable change of pace on a budget.

Really beautiful and clean, and the staff are great. The bathroom is quite a trek from the rooms.

There are big rooms and lovely halls to explore in this beautiful, spacious hostel. It was supposedly full while we were there, but we never saw another guest. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were great. Its central location is a plus, though some basics are missing: working power outlets, a kitchen, and Wi-Fi in the rooms.

For 200 pesos, you can stay in a beautifully maintained old building, and the location couldn't be better. The beds are comfortable, restrooms are clean, and our water was hot with normal flow. I only wished there were a kitchen, or at least a fridge and kettle for hot water. Aside from that, I highly recommend it. Staying here made me appreciate Puebla even more.

The food was nice, though service took a really long time. It's a good brunch spot in a building with a beautiful Art Nouveau feel.
