Ramada Encore by Wyndham Puebla

We had a great meal, and the hotel’s atmosphere was nice. Everyone on the dining side was pleasant, and the food was delicious. The enchiladas suizas were some of the best we’ve had, and the fajita de pollo were excellent. It’s a fantastic hotel, though a few simple problems need sorting out for future guests. Getting back on the road is easy since it’s right off the cuota, and the gated parking with an attendant is a big plus. Front desk service was great with one woman, but the other handled our room problem poorly. Our room hadn’t been cleaned at all and was a complete mess. We know mistakes happen, but we weren’t given a replacement right away. Instead, they offered a downgrade from King to Queen without refunding the upgrade fee, or told us we could cancel and book again, which seemed odd since we’d paid through booking.com. After 30 minutes, the first woman came over and gave us a key to another King room. Such an easy fix, especially with the hotel empty.

Breakfast is decent if you get there early. There’s also a gym and an indoor pool. The hotel is comfortable and looks very nice, but the walls are so thin that you can hear everything.

The included breakfast is great, and the staff are nice and accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the price felt fair. The pool is small, though the water is warm. The parking lot seemed safe for our vehicle.

I liked the food and service, and the price was good for what you get. It’s also close to Val Quirico and the outlets. I’d have rated it five stars if one of the elevators hadn’t been out. All the guests had to share the other one. I could have used the stairs, but there wasn’t a clear sign showing where they were. I also saw a service elevator and couldn’t figure out why guests couldn’t use it while the other elevator was down.
