Hotel Misión Puebla Angelopolis

I won’t come back. The place was unbearably noisy, with thin walls and doors, tile floors, people slamming doors, and hairdryers and conversations carrying from other rooms and the halls. Cleaning staff were yelling and using their walkie-talkies at 7.30 am. The Wi-Fi only worked now and then, so it’s no good if you need to sleep or work online. I was first given a room across from the elevator. Its motor noise came through the thin door all night, so I asked to move. Two receptionists told me there were no rooms, and I felt they were lying to my face. I asked to speak with the GM, who was the only friendly person I met. She found me a quieter room and at least tried to sort things out. The reception staff were unfriendly and seemed unsure what to do. They gave me a coffee maker with a sign saying I had to buy the coffee pack at reception. The other guests made the noise worse. This felt more like a mental asylum than a hotel. Don’t forget, you get what you pay for. I’d pay $20 more for the Holiday inn or Hilton instead. Thanks to the GM for trying to resolve this ordeal.

The place was very clean and the customer service was friendly. It’s a new hotel, and breakfast comes with the room rate. The bathrooms are modern and roomy, with great showers, though the rooms could use more amenities such as a coffee maker. The parking setup was odd and not very good, tucked at the corner of two freeways. Still, it was an excellent stay.

The room was very clean and the service excellent. They include breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi for free, and the TV has Netflix.

Everything feels brand new. The restaurant food is delicious, though the restaurant itself is a little small.
